A few weeks back my colleague and I test drove the 2008 Honda Accord 2.4. Actually my colleague drove it, I didn't, just sat and enjoyed the bewilderingly silent drive.

The model we test drove isn't the one you see in the video; this one is the European model - with much sleeker looks, much more sexy in my opinion. We drove the one you see in the photo attached, ie. Asian market model.

I've driven the previous Accord before (2.4 litre), and personally I think the drive is just all too well-mannered and in safe mode control for my taste. It's the passive programmed steering electronics that's doing it - you drive faster, and the steering just stays straight. No fun if you wanna swerve away fast or do quick corner exits and leave a cloud of smoke behind.

This 2008 one drives the same too. So, racer boys like me should stay clear off these big rides. Other than that, it's a fine car if you can afford it.
